남자넷이 뭉쳤다,사위들의 아쿠아리조트 사이판 여행후기

우리 처갓집은 딸만 넷이다 보니 틈만 나면 모이는 걸 좋아한다.
결혼과 동시에 올해부터 나도 그 대열에 끼게 되었다.
형님들과의 나이차이도 있고 결혼전 단촐했던 우리 가족에 비해 대가족인 처갓집이 아직 어색하지만 그래도 머니머니해도
여행은 여럿이 가야 제맛....

첨 이번 사이판행은 진주 큰형님네만 계획하고 있었던건데 얼떨결에 작은형님네도 끼게 되고
여름 성수기엔 절때 못쉬는 우리 와이프는 회사에 사정을 얘기하고 하루만 휴가를 내서 우리까지 끼게 되어 스케일이 아주 큰 여름휴가가 되었다.

사이판에 있는 셋째형님네를 만나러 우린 그렇게 사이판으로 향했다.
(장인, 장모님을 못모시고 간게 계속 맘에 걸렸지만 이번은 우리 네자매끼리 가고 부모님들은 다음번에 두분이서 오붓하게 가신다고 하셨다)

진주 큰형님네와 작은형님네는 8월13일 출발로 4박5일, 우리는 하루 늦은 8월14일 출발로 4박5일로 일정을 잡았다
또 진주 가족들은 김해공항에서, 우리 둘은 인천공항에서 출발을 했다.

우리보다 하루 먼저 도착한 진주 가족들은 첫날 정글투어와 시내관광을 했다고 한다.
큰형님과 나를 제외한 다른 가족들은 사이판을 기본 2-3번은 왔다갔다 한 사람들이라 이번여행은 초보인 큰형님과 나를 위한 여행이었다.

<정글투어 번외편>


정글투어는 4륜 구동차를 타고 원주민 집, old man by the sea, 타포차우산, 금단의 섬 등을 돌아보는 코스다.
정글투어를 진행하는 업체가 몇군데 있다고 하는데 딴 곳과 달리 이 업체는 금단의 섬 투어가 포함되어 있다
말그대로 들어갈수 없는 섬인데, 번외편 사진 젤 아래 오른쪽 사진이다.
섬바로옆이 산호방파제로 둘러쌓여있어 방파제 바로 옆은 아주 깊은 바다다.
예전에 현지인들이 여기서 수영을 하다가 생명을 잃는 사고도 있었다고 한다.

여기서 잠깐!!!
우리가 4박5일동안 묵었던 호텔은 바로바로바로 '아쿠아리조트'이다
큰처형께서 큰 건물에 빼곡하게 객실이 들어선 호텔이 싫고, 수영장을 왔다갔다 할때 번거롭게 엘리베이터 타는게 싫다고 해서우리 와이프가 엄선한 호텔이다.

이 호텔의 특징은 2층의 구조에 각 층에 2개씩의 객실이 있다.
우리 가족의 구성원은 성인 6명, 고등학생2명, 초등학생2명이어서 패밀리 가든뷰2개, 가든뷰1개를 잡았다
(정말 대가족이다.ㅋ)

패밀리 가든뷰와 가든뷰의 차이는 가든뷰에 있는 베란다가 패밀리 가든뷰에는 없는 대신 그만큼이 객실면적으로 더 잡혀 있다.
패밀리 가든뷰는 베드도 하나 더 들어가 있어 성인3명이 자기엔 충분했다

처음 객실에 들어갔을때 가족들은 많이 당황했다고 한다.
객실이 습하다 못해 이불들이 축축했고 사진에서 보듯이 너무나도 어두컴컴한 분위기였다.
하지만 시간이 지나고 호텔의 구조상 그럴수 밖에 없음을 우리는 이해할수 있게 되었다.

객실의 습한 기운은 아쿠아 리조트 객실 형태상 어쩔수 없음을 이해해야만 한다.
일반 호텔들의 경우 큰 건물속에 객실이 들어가 있는 형태로 건물전체에서 에어컨이 나오는 반면
아쿠아 리조트는 객실안에서만 에어컨이 가동되기 때문에 우리가 들어가서 켜지 않는 이상 습한 느낌은 어쩔수 없는거였다.

첫날 들어갈때만 그랬지 틈틈히 에어컨을 켜놓으니 크게 문제는 없었다.
객실의 분위기는 모든 가구의 색깔들 때문이다.

하지만 자세히 들여다 보면 전부 질좋은 원목가구임을 알수 있다.
다른 호텔들은 싸구려 나무에 깔끔해 보이기 위해 흰페인트를 칠해 놓은 경우가 많은데
아쿠아리조트는 침대, 스탠드, 서랍장, 의자 등 모든 가구가 원목이라 고급스러운 느낌이 든다.
큰처형께서는 TV서랍장이 너무 마음에 든다며 계속 가져가고 싶어하는 눈치였다 ㅋㅋ
아쿠아리조트의 '친환경' 컨셉에 딱 맞는 느낌이었다.

객실은 패밀리 가든뷰 두개가 1층에 나란히 배정되고 가든뷰는 2층이었다.
아쿠아리조트에는 커넥팅룸이 없어서 조금 불편하다 생각했는데1층에 배정된 두 패밀리 가든뷰에는 큰문이 하나 있고 큰문을 열면 각객실의 작은 문이 따로 있어서있는 동안에는 큰문만 잠궈놓고 왔다갔다 하기 편하게 작은문 두개는 오픈을 시켜놨다.
사실상 2층의 가든뷰는 잠만 자고 샤워만 하는곳이고 거의 쓰지 않았다

그리고 객실의 침대가 생각보다 작았다.
한베드에 성인1명과 어린이1명은 절때 같이 잘수 없는 크기의 객실이었다.
우린 고심하던 끝에 스탠드 밑으로 두개의 침대를 빼서 붙여버렸다.
그러고 나니 성인 3명도 같이 잘수 있는 크기의 침대가 만들어졌다.
우리의 객실을 청소해주던 하우스 키핑은 매일 침대를 원위치로 시켜놓았다.

우리가 있는 동안은 그냥 냅둬도 될텐데 수고스럽게 말이다.
가족들도 많은데다 방은 항상 엉망이었는데 우리들 객실 청소해준 하우스 키핑에게 심심한 감사를 드린다.ㅋ

아쿠아리조트의 수영장은 작고 아담한 사이즈였다.
흔하디 흔한 워터슬라이드 하나 없지만 애들은 신나게 놀더라.
수영장에서 해변까지도 아주 가깝게 연결되어 있었다.

정글투어후 진주 가족들은 오후에는 간단하게 시내관광을 했다.
오전에는 해가 너무 뜨거워서 일부러 늦은 오후에 셋째형님의 인솔하에 시내관광을 시작했다.

큰형님를 제외하고는 모두들 시내관광 유경험자라 모든건 큰형님을 위주로~
새섬앞에서 찍은 단체 사진은 셋째형님과 건우도 함께한 사진이다.

우리 부부와 셋째처형까지 있음 완벽한 가족사진인데..
이번 여행중에 가장 아쉬운건 모두가 함께 찍은 가족사진이 없다는거다.
노느라 바빠서 사진찍을 여유가 없었던것 같아 정말 아쉽다.

이렇게 선발대들은 하루 일정을 마치고 셋째 형님네로 가서 삼겹살 파티를 했다고 하는데..
그시각 우리 부부는 인천공항 놀이를 하고 있었다.

나는 출발하는날부터 휴가여서 회사 근무를 마치고 출발하는 와이프를 픽업해 인천공항으로 갔다.
공항에 도착하니 5시반, 셀프체크인을 마치고 들어갔더니 딱히 쇼핑할것도 없고 해서 우린 롯데 플래티늄카드 라운지를 갔다.

연회비 4만원이나 주고 아무 혜택도 못받는다고 투덜대던 와이프에게 드디어 큰소리 칠 기회가 왔다.
플래티늄카드 라운지가 따로 있는게 아니라 아시아나 비지니스 클래스 라운지를 함께 이용하고 있었다.
컵라면, 맥주, 샐러드, 파스타등 우린 쉴새없이 먹었다.
특히 맥주..생맥주, 캔맥주 맘대로 골라먹을수 있어 좋았다(역시 우리 부부는 술을 빼놓지 않는다)
너무 먹었던지라 나중에 기내식은 눈에 들어오지도 않았다.

이렇게 진주가족들은 사이판에서 둘째날 일정을, 우리부부는 인천공항에서 첫날 일정을 맞았다.
이제 사이판으로 가서 뭉치는 일만 남았다~~

사이판에서의 첫날이 시작되었다.
몇년전 와이프(그때는 여자칭구)와 함께 괌을 갔다온 적이 있는데 사이판과는 전혀 다른 느낌이다

어두컴컴한 새벽, 공항에 도착해서 셋째처형집으로 가는길에 가로등도 거의 없었지만 괌과는 전혀 다른 사이판을 느낄수 있었다.
모든 거리가 정말 휑했다-_-
비행기가 활주로에 내릴때도 주위는 암흑이었다.

새벽에 처형집에 도착해서 바로 잠들지 못하고 소주 한잔 걸치고 누웠더니 아침에 일어나는게 너무 힘들었다.
그래도 우리의 일정을 망칠수 없으므로 2시간의 숙면을 취하고 진주가족들을 만나러 갔다.

사이판의 날씨는 상상이상으로 더웠다.
특히나 더위를 많이 타는 나에겐 힘들었다.
우리가 휴가 오기전 한국도 폭염주위보였는데..

오늘의 일정은 월드리조트 웨이브정글과 오후에 남자셋은 라오라오베이 부킹이 잡혀있었다.
우린 골프 칠동안 나머지 가족들은 계속 물놀이..ㅋㅋ

월드리조트 웨이브 정글은 내가 생각했던것보다 아기자기 했다.
한국의 일반적 워터파크에 비하면 규모는 작지만 지금 이맘때라면 유수풀의 튜브하나 잡기도 하늘의 별따기일것이고
슬라이드 타는 줄만해도 30분 이상은 족히 걸리겠지만 여긴 그런게 없어 좋드라.
썬베드도 쉽게 잡을수도 있고 말이지...

워터슬라이드 중에 젤 매력있는건 블랙홀이었는데 수십번은 탔던것 같다.
튜브슬라이드의 경우 튜브에서 내릴때 스텝이 일부러 살짝 뒤집어줘서 우릴 물먹게 했다 나아~쁜...

오전시간이 후딱 가버리고 나를 포함한 큰형님, 둘째형님 우리 셋은 라오라오에 골프를 치러갔다.
오후 골프가 가격이 좀 저렴하고 사람이 별루 없어서 우리가 자유롭게 칠수가 있다고 해서 2시 티옵을 잡았는데 살인적인 햇빛 때문에 걱정이 많이 됐다.

큰형님은 10년 경력이시지만 클럽을 안잡으신지가 3년이 넘었다 하셨고, 작은형님은 이제 막 연습장에 입문하셔서 아직 머리도 안올린 상태.

나는 국내에서 5-6번정도 가본 경험밖에 없다.

사이판 골프장에는 캐디도 없다는데 가지전부터 어찌나 걱정이 되던지..
또 땅만 후벼파는건 아닌지..날씨 걱정에..걱정이 이만저만이 아녔다.

점심을 먹고 골프장에 도착해서 치기 시작하는데 해가 쨍쨍해서 더워 미칠것 같더니 30분 정도 지나니 시원한 스콜이 더위를 식혀줬다.
이스트 코스를 돌았는데 캐디가 없어서 걱정했던게 오히려 더 편했다..
한국에서의 격식도 필요없고 남들 눈치 볼 필요도 없고 우리끼리 자유롭게 칠 수 있으니 말이다.

둘째형님은 공도 많이 잃어버리셨는데 그래도 큰경험 하신듯하다.
우리 남자셋은 마지막으로 바다를 향해 공을 힘껏 쳤는데 그때의 기분이란..^^

우리가 이렇게 즐겁게 골프를 치는 동안 웨이브 정글에 있던 가족들은 호텔앞 비치에서 카누도 타고 즐겁게 놀았다고 한다

각자의 일정을 마치고 호텔에서 우린 다시 만났다.
아쿠아리조트의 '시푸드 부페' 저녁을 먹기 위해서다.

매주 금요일마다 메인 레스토랑인 코스타에서 먹을수 있는데 성인 1인 $25(투숙객 기준, 택스포함)이다.
게, 새우, 참치회, 굴, 스시등 다양한 시푸드를 맘꺽 먹을수 있고, 맥주 또한 무제한이라는거~

정말 저렴한 가격으로 시푸드를 먹을수 있다.
우리 나라에도 시푸드 부페가 많이 생겨나고 있는데 맥주 불포함에 35,000원 정도가 기본인걸로 알고 있다.
호텔에서 먹는다면 배 이상은 들겠지?
그걸 생각해보면 정말 저렴한 가격이 아닐 수 없다.

가운데 사진에서 보면 창밖으로 보이는 선셋 또한 예술이다.
저부분만 잘라서 보면 정말 그림같은 분위기다.
아쿠아리조트의 수와진이라 불리는 필리피노 싱어들이 와서 우릴 위해 노래도 불러주고, 흥에 겨워 다들 팁도 쿡쿡 찔러주고..
마치 우리 가족을 위한 시간 같았다.

식사를 마치고 남자들은 골프로 뭉친 몸을 풀기 위해 마사지를 받으러 갔고 여자들은 그토록 원하던 쇼핑을 했다.
우리는 사이판에서의 첫날 일정이지만 진주 가족들은 내일 밤이면 이곳을 떠난다.

시간이 빨리 가는게 너무 아쉽게만 느껴졌다..

진주가족이 떠나는 날이다.
우린 내일까지 일정이 있지만 사이판에 하루 먼저 도착한 진주 첫째처형네와 둘째처형네는 오늘이 마지막이다.

오전에는 마나가하섬을 가기로 했고 마나가하섬에서 나올땐 파라셀링을..그리고 오후엔 호핑투어를 가기로 했다.
파라셀링은 한사람도 빠지지 않고 전원이 모두 하기로 했다.
마나가하섬까지는 약10분동안 배를 타고 들어가는데 날씨도 좋고 바다가 깨끗해서인지 구름과 바다가 구분이 안됐다.

하지만 사진속에 마나가하섬 위에 검은 먹구름이..
우기라 그런지 여행내내 틈틈히 스콜이 내려줬다.
그치만 여행에 큰불편은 없었고 오히려 더위를 식혀주는 역할을 해서 좋았다.

10여분동안 유람선을 타고 마나가하섬에 도착하니 정말 상상할수 없을정도로 깨끗한 사이판의 바다를 만날수 있었다.
사진에는 좀 어둡게 나왔지만..사진찍는 내공이 부족해서..
너무나도 맑고 깨끗하고 물고기들도 많았다.

큰형님과 작은형님은 수영을 못하시는 관계로 물밖에서 구경하셨고..(물이 어찌나 깨끗한지 물밖에서도 고기가 다 보인다고 하시더라..ㅎㅎ)

요즘 애들은 수영못하는 애들이 없으니까 조카들은 주저없이 물로 뛰어 들었다.
그 애들 무리에 나도 함께~ㅎㅎ
와이프랑 둘이 사람 없는 먼곳까지 나가서 스노클링도 했다.

아무리 먼곳까지 나간다 해도 수심은 크게 깊어지지 않고 중간중간에 산호가 있어서 잡거나 서거나 하는데는 문제가 없었다.
그런데 내가 알기론 바다속 산호위에 올라서면 안된다고 들었는데..살아있는 산호들이 죽을수도 있다고..담부턴 하지 말아야겠네^^

산호 주변에는 정말 작은 열대어들이 떼지어 다녔고 수심 가까운곳에는 학꽁치들이 있었다.
수중 카메라가 있었다면 멋진 사진 한장 찍었을텐데 아쉽다.

2시간 정도의 스노클링을 마치고 12시반에 파라셀링이 예약되어 있어 선착장으로 향했다.
가는 도중 스콜이 엄청나게 퍼붓기 시작했다.

주체를 할수 없을정도로 심한 스콜이 내려서 파라셀링이 취소되면 어쩌나 가족들 모두 걱정됐다.
이번 파라셀링은 큰맘먹은 형님들의 도전(?)인데 무산되면 어쩌나..
선착장에서 기다리기를 10여분..비가 서서히 그치기 시작했다.
하늘이 우릴 도우는구나~

파라셀링 인원은 총 10명으로 두대의 스피드보트에 나눠탔다.
한쪽은 큰형님부부, 작은형님부부, 석준, 제원(남자조카둘) 그리고 우리배에는 우리부부, 예원, 예림(여자조카둘)
우리배가 먼저 출발했고 기대하던 파라셀링이 시작됐다.

첨에 시작할때 살짝 겁이 났는데 스피드보트에 속도가 붙고 점점 높이 올라가더니 정말 하늘을 나는 기분이 들었다.
바다도 넘 멋지고 사이판전체가 다 눈에 들어왔다

사진은 스텝들이 알아서 다 찍어주고-넘 멀리서 찍어서 누가 누군지 구분은 잘 안되지만..
재작년에 와이프가 사이판와서 탔던 파라셀링은 짧게 끝났다고 했는데 원주민 스텝들 우리가 인원이 많아서 그런지 엄청 오래 태워준다.

바람도 적당히 불고 중간에 물에 살짝 빠트려주기도 하고 정말 스릴 만점이었다.

사이판에 도착해서 만났던 석준이의 상기된 표정을 잊을수가 없다.
색다른 경험이었다고 하네.

파라셀링을 마치고 사이판으로 돌아가는 길에 다들 신난 표정으로 한컷씩 사진에 담았다.
사이판에 도착해서 컨츄리 하우스에서 점심을 먹고 우린 다시 바다로 향했다.

호핑투어를 위해..

점심식사후 호핑투어 배가 출발하는 선착장으로 갔다.
오전에 마나가하섬 갈때 탔던곳이랑 같은곳이다.
호핑투어 배에 올라타면 배가 깊은 바다 한가운데로 나가게 된다.

바다 한가운데에 정박을 하고 낚시 시작~
오징어를 미끼로 꽂고 낚시대를 끝까지 풀어서 입질이 오길 기다리면 된다.
난 낚시란걸 첨 해봤는데 정말 인내심이 필요한 취미 생활이다.
입질이 온것같아 재빨리 낚시줄을 감으면 미끼만 채가버리고..그러기를 여러번..
다른 식구는 아무도 못잡고 작은형님만 작은 열대어 두마리를 잡았다.
누구하나라도 대어를 낚았으면 정말 기억에 남는 호핑투어가 됐을텐데..아쉽더만

낚시를 끝내고 배는 스노클링 포인트로 이동한다.
각자 준비해온 구명조끼와 마스크를 끼고 자유롭게 스노클링 시작...

나는 깊은 바다에서 겁도 없이 구명조끼를 벗어 던졌다.
오전에 마나가하섬에서 하는 스노클링과는 느낌이 달랐다.
고기들이 많진 않았지만 물도 더 깨끗하고 깊었다.
낚시 하면서 배멀리도 약간 있긴 했는데 물안에 들어가니 배멀미는 잊게 됐다.
마나가하섬에서의 스노클링이 익숙해졌는지 깊은 바다에서의 스노클링도 쉬웠다.

3일간의 일정중 공교롭게도 마지막날 일정이 너무 빡빡해서 호핑투어를 마치고 돌아오는 배안에서 가족들은 녹초가 됐다.
현지인의 초대를 받고 갔던 BBQ파티에서도 우리 가족들은 너무 피곤한 나머지 정신없이 먹고 바삐 숙소로 돌아왔다.

빡빡한 일정으로 힘들었지만 여행의 마지막은 쇼핑으로 장식해야하지 않는가..
남자들만 호텔에 넣어두고 여자들끼리 DFS로 향했고 남자들은 알리가 없는 쇼핑을 즐겼다고 한다.
(애들 기념품이며 칭구들 선물을 산모양..ㅋ)

이렇게 해서 가족여행의 공식적인 일정은 끝이 났다.
아쉬움도 많고 즐거움도 많았던 가족여행...
내년엔 예원이(큰처형 장녀)도 고3이 될테고 우리에게도 주니어가 생길테니 몇년간 이런 여행은 생각도 못하겠지?
가기전 신종플루 때문에 살짝 걱정도 됐었고 경비의 압박으로 여행을 취소해야하나 말아야 하나 고민도 많이 했지만 정말 갔다오길 잘한듯!!

이렇게 다같이 뭉칠 기회가 앞으로 힘드니까..

남은 우리 부부만의 일정은 다음편에서 공개하고
진주가족들 무사 귀국을 기원!!ㅎㅎ



사이판에서의 마지막 날이다.
오늘은 둘만의 일정이므로 늦은 아침을 먹고 여유있게 호텔을 나섰다
북쪽으로 올라가 시내관광을 먼저 시작했다.

한국인 위령탑, 새섬, 자살절벽, 만세절벽, 그로토까지..
날씨가 너무 더워서 차에서 내리는게 지옥같았다.
정말 땀이 비오듯이 내렸다.

그로토는 와이프가 가기 싫다는거 억지로 끌고 갔다.
와이프도 단한번도 가보지도 않았다면서 가길 싫어했다.
호텔에 묵는동안 사이판 관광에 대한 방송을 봤는데 그루토가 넘 멋진거다.
유명한 다이빙 포인트라고 하니 다이빙은 못하더라도 꼭한번 내려가보고 싶었다.
층층 계단을 내려가보니 정말 동굴속에 깊은 바다가 있었고 그 색깔은 마치 군청색 물감은 풀어놓은듯 했다.

우리가 내려갈때 산소통을 메고 올라오는 일본 다이버들이 만났는데 정말 힘들어보였다.
우린 맨몸으로 올라가는것도 땀을 엄청 흘리며 힘들어 했는데 다이버들은 산소통까지..
그렇게까지 와서 하고 간다면 그 물속은 정말 어떤 매력이 있길래..정말 궁금해진다.
담번엔 여기와서 꼭 다이빙을 해봐야지.

그로토를 구경하고 계단을 올라가면서 와이프가 왜 여길 안간다고 한 이유를 알았다.
계단도 엄청 나게 많았지만 그 경사는 상상을 초월했다.
그치만 나도 그로토를 보고 왔다는 이 뿌듯함^^

시내관광을 마치고 가라판에서 점심을 먹은뒤 오후엔 몬스터 트럭을 타러 갔다.

예전에 VJ특공대와 꼬꼬관광에 나온적이 있는 몬스터 트럭.
몬스터 트럭은 길이 아닌 비포장 도로를 신나게 달리는 오프로드 익스트림 스포츠다.
사이판가면 꼭 해보고 싶다고 노래를 불렀는데~ㅎㅎ

와이프는 ATV는 타본적이 있다는데 몬스터 트럭은 첨이란다~
생긴지도 얼마 안됐다고 하네.

외관상으로 보여지는 트럭의 포스에 한번 놀래고 엔진의 힘에 두번 놀래고..
전부 개조한 것으로 세상에 한대 뿐인 트럭들~
운전을 오래했던 나도 살짝 긴장이 됐다.
출발전 스텝에게 운전법과 주위점을 듣고 출발했다.
우리외에 가족 두팀이 더 있어서 총 3대가 출발.
우리만 두명이어서 젤 작은 트럭이다.

바퀴가 얼마나 큰지 올라타는 일도 보통이 아니다(거짓말 조금 보태서 바퀴가 울 와이프 만함.ㅋㅋ)
이 네바퀴는 위에 스프링이 달려있어 제각각 움직인다.

그러니 뒷바퀴가 물웅덩이에 빠져도 앞바퀴는 들리지 않고 땅에 붙어 있다.
몬스터 트럭은 없는게 많다 .
백밀러, 클락션, 깜박이 그리고 가장 쇼킹한건 문짝.
오프로드를 쌩쌩 달리는데다가 조그만 충격에도 차가 많이 흔들리므로 손잡이를 잘 잡지 않으면 밖으로 튕겨 나갈수도 있다.
와이프는 답답할텐데 안전벨트 절때 풀지 않더라..ㅋㅋ

백밀러와 깜박이가 없는 관계로 방향전환과 출발및 정지는 앞차의 수신호에 따라야한다.
선두는 스텝의 차여서 선두의 지시대로 무조건 따르고 뒷차에게 수신호로 전달해줘야한다.

첫코스는 아주 쉽다 .
그냥 평범한 평지..
출발해서 정말 이게 전부면 너무 시시할 정도로..
하지만 우리를 실망시킬 익스트림이 아니지~

평지를 1km정도 달리니 진정한 오프로드가 나왔다.
오전내내 짬짬이 내린 스콜로 적당한 물웅덩이도 만들어지고 땅은 질퍽한 진흙탕 투성이었다.
이제부터 슬슬 긴장되기 시작했다.

앞에 가족팀들의 바퀴가 물웅덩이에 빠져서 한참동안 헛바퀴질을 하는 모습을 보니..이거 정말 만만치 않구나..하는 생각이 들었다.

긴장한걸 옆에 있는 와이프에게 티는 안냈지만 식은땀이 줄줄..ㅎㅎ
바퀴가 물웅덩이에 빠지는 바람에 그거 빼내느라 10여분을 지체하고 그 가족을은 온몸에 진흙이 다 튀었다.
운전은 아빠가 했는데 애들과 엄마에게 실망스런 모습 보여주지 않을려고 애쓰는 모습..진정한 한국 아빠다.ㅋ
아들은 아빠가 운전하는 차 타기 싫다고 하고..아빠가 얼마나 원망스러웠을까.
이 가족들 한국으로 돌아오는 비행기에서 만났드랬지^^

돌뿌리에 걸려 살짝만 덜컹거려도 온몸에 전해지는 충격은 어찌나 큰지...
이게 몬스터 트럭의 매력이 아닐까~
정글을 지나갈때는 우거진 숲 덕분에 해가 들지 않아 시원하게 달릴수가 있었다.
본격적인 오프로드 코스를 20여분 달려 도착한곳은 사이판의 북쪽이 보이는 곳이다.

바람도 적당히 불어주고 사이판의 북쪽과 망망대해가 보이는곳이었다.
스텝이 요기저기 서보라며 사진도 찍어줬다.
바다를 보고 있으니 아까 긴장은 다 풀어지고 정말 오길 잘했다는 생각이 든다.
사진을 한장정도는 큰사이즈로 올릴껄..
정말 멋진곳이었다.

익스트림 마지막 코스는 타포차우산이다.
사이판의 제일 높은 산...
계단따라 올라가면 정상이고 정상에는 마리아 상이 있다.
정글투어에도 있는 코스인데 마리아상이 보고 싶다면 여행후기 1탄 참고~ㅎㅎ

앞으로 내가 살면서 사이판을 몇번을 가게 될지 모르지만 정말 다시 꼭 가보고 싶다.
그땐 그로토에서 다이빙도 해보고 렌트해서 섬의 구석구석을 둘러보고 티니안도 가보고..카지노 하러..^^

솔직히 난 휴양보다는 움직이는걸 조아라 하는편이라 신혼여행으로 갔던 코타보다는 사이판이 훨씬 좋았다.
코타에서는 호텔에만 콕 박혀서 수영장 왔다갔다 맛있는 밥먹고 럭셔리 하게는 보냈지만 결국 돌아오니 남는건 없더라고...
사이판도 휴양지지만 크지 않은 섬이여서 이동거리도 짧고 조금만 움직여도 할수 있는 엑티브티가 많아서 좋았다.
